 What Is Stress?

So, before discussing start solutions let's start with the definition. Stress is a feeling of emotional tension because of psychological strain. Now let's assume that you need to read my blog throughout the day. So for you, it's not a problem to read for 5 to a maximum of 10 times but as you read over again and again you will feel stress. So, small things can also create stress it's actually dependent on time. Another example, I order you to not think about anything for a whole day, stop your all thoughts. Practically you cannot. You will feel stress.
From these examples, you came to know that stress is your body's response to anything that requires attention or action.

10 simple ways to relieve stress and anxiety-

So, I decided to tell you the practical & physical methods first and then the actual permanent solution in your mind. But you need to apply all these advices together otherwise these solutions will not work.

1. Exercise

Exercise is one of the most important solution to get rid of stress and anxiety.
Exercise lowers your body's stress hormone - like cortisol. It also helps to release dopamine endorphins, which are chemicals that improve your mood.
Exercise improves your sleep quality. And a 7-8 hour sleep is enough to kill your stress.2. Walk 10 Minutes In The Presence of Bright Sunlight -
Sunlight also helps to maintain our normal biological clock. Sunlight is 5 to 10 times brighter than our indoor light and it turns out that our body needs sunlight in order to set our circadian rhythms right.
And biological clock helps you to maintain hormone regulation, time for sleep, time to feel energetic, any change in the normal biological clock leads us to depression. Imagine if you feel tired all of the day and when night comes you cannot sleep well. These are the common problems that most people with depression have. So, this clock needs to be adjusted.
Researchers suggest that walking in bright sunlight for 10 minutes is enough to be okay.

3. Food-

One study showed that those who take enough omega-3-fatty acid via fish and other seafood, nuts (such as walnuts), experience a reduction in feeling depressed.
And maintain a proper diet. Like for example if you eat too much or too little before an interview or exam you feel more stressed.

4. Find workable goals that give you a sense of accomplishment-

Most people feel guilty when talking about goals because they set unreasonable or unworkable goals. A goal is workable if it’s:
Manageable, Realistic for you (not for someone else), Measurable (i.e., you know whether or not it is done or getting done).
Setting small goals can help you to reduce your depression.

5. Laugh

Laughter can help lessen your stress and anxiety and may make you feel happier Laughter releases endorphins and decrease stress hormones cortisol.
Laughter relieves tension by relaxing your muscles.
Watch a funny TV show, memes or spend time with friends.

6. Get a Hug/Kiss From Your Loved One -

Physical touch releases oxytocin in your body and oxytocin decreases the level of stress hormone - cortisol in your blood. Moreover after hugging or kissing you will feel a connection with him/her so you can share your problems with him/her. Sharing your problems with friends/loved ones reduces stress.

7. Traveling Alone -

Traveling alone is one of the best ways to reduce stress. You don't need to care about anyone, you can enjoy as much as you want on a solo trip. Explore new things. Maybe you became one of the best bloggers. So, here you get a purpose and a direction.
You may surprise by knowing that I wanted to be a traveler after age 18(Now 16) LOL! 😂 You may think that then how can I give you solutions of stress. But you know, age is just a number.

8. Sleep Enough -

Sleep is a necessary human function. It allows our body parts to rest. If you don't sleep enough then it is a reason you feel stress often. I will suggest you to talk with a doctor if you have problems with sleeping.

9. Make A Thought Diary -

Another way to deal with stress is to write things down.
Whenever any thoughts came into your mind write it down, it will help you to comeback on track. And you will also able to realize that what trigger’s you to feel stress.
So, make a thought diary today.
Again you need to apply the tricks only reading tricks doesn't work.

10. Spend Time Alone (Main & Most Useful)

Till now you came to know that there are many instant solutions to reducing stress like playing your favorite music, taking enough sleep, using medications, etc.
You should follow all those instant solutions plus the psychological solution to get rid of stress.
Sometimes you expect something but didn’t get that after trying. So, stop expecting things, which you don’t deserve. It doesn’t mean that you will not earn enough money. It means stop too much expectation.
You expect to be better than someone, you compare yourself with others, it causes stress.
Now how can you stop your too much expectation?
Simple solution - 'Stay happy with yourself'.
Tell yourself that nothing wrong will happen to you unless you do something wrong.
Can you remember when you were a child, then you haven’t any type of stress. It’s because you were full of energy, you had feared but not the stress. Spend some time with kids and spend some time alone, try to know yourself, you cannot expect something from yourself unless you know your true potential.
I am not saying that you need to do meditation, no you don’t need any so-called meditation. Just you need to spend some time with yourself.
Like for example, tomorrow take a break from all the routine. Switch off your phone and then spend time alone for 3 - 4 hours. You will realize your problem at that time, first time you can’t stay more than 2–3 minutes but you need to continue it for 3–4 hours, and after practicing for few days you will get a source of happiness which will kill all those stress.
Then you will try to help people. And after that, you will able to channelize all your energy like a child. You will release your energy by pursuing your hobbies like I release my all thoughts via painting and music and thus a positive cycle will start.
And in this positive cycle, you will able to get many friends.
You can stay happy in your worst condition too. But remember nothing is going to happen unless you take these small steps.
